Yazdian women, especially Muslim, after the seventh to ninth centuries (AD), are known as the effective Muslim community in Yazd. Their role in the evolution of the architectural quality of the city, is very salientiant, especially during the reign of the Patriarch to Timurid eras (as seventh to ninth AD), and this is pronounced in the architectural monuments of the periods in Yazd. Because of the historiography of Iran did not pay much attention to the significant role of women alongside the courtier men in the history of architecture and urbanism, and also the Art and Architecture of Yazd in these periods, were native and at the peak of the excellence, so it seems necessary to attention to this field. Therefore, in this study, basing on historical sources and documents, using descriptive analytical methods, by describing the main feature of the Patriarch, Al- Muzaffar and Timurid architecture, and introducing the active courtier women and their efforts in this field and the remained buildings in these periods and their impacts on the architectural developments. The main question is: "were the courtier women effective in developmenting of architecture and urbanism in the ancient Yazd?" The results show that their direct effect in creating of unique buildings caused flourishing civilization in Yazd.
